The Full Story

The Dallas native graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in journalism while working as a marketing assistant for Latina Style Magazine. She joined the College Football Playoff in May 2018. Prior to joining the CFP staff as a digital marketing specialist, Ruiz served as a digital producer for NBCUniversal/Telemundo, where she won a Lone Star Emmy award for her production work on the Clear the Shelter campaign. During her time at NBC Universal Telemundo, Ruiz served as an anchor/reporter/producer for their sister station in Abilene. 

She currently reports for FC Dallas while running her media design company Design Reality.✨✨✨
